Good for him! I'm sure working at a vegan restaurant makes it easier to stick with that diet.
I cannot get my mind around eating vegan no matter how many folks lose weight and feel good. Vegetarian I can do and have and still am close to that. I really like this photo with Doug looking through the cider press.
Cool portrait, Jack! I couldn't be vegan.
Like your portrait with Doug and the cider press. One must be something of a food scientist to eat a balanced diet while avoiding any animal produces like milk and eggs. Did you know that the combination of coconut and peanut butter makes a whole protein? Who would have guessed that? One trait of a vegan restaurant is that the food must taste great, or they go out of business quickly. I'm not opposed to vegetarian food, but admit that I do like meat. It is good to be at the top of the food chain.
Thank you for your recent comments on my photos. You are too kind. I do try to enjoy myself with my pictures. My photo blog provides me with a regular deadline and schedule. It provides some structure and gets me out of the house. The connection to my viewers is a great bonus.
Great shot for the day as always, Jack! I do love vegetables, but not to the exclusion of meat altogether!! I hope you have a great weekend with great food, whatever it is!!
The cider press does make for an interesting way to frame a shot!
Great portrait!! He looks very happy.
This sounds like a great place. I don't really have that kind of option in my small town.
Well, that's a good testimonial for eating vegan. Doug looks healthy and happy. But I'd be hard pressed to be a good vegan and say goodbye to cheese...and eggs...and dairy milk...and ice cream...nope. Not gonna happen.
Nice portrait of Doug.
I'm effectively almost a vegetarian, so rarely do I eat meat. I cannot however, contemplate giving up cheese, yoghurt and other such animal products. I enjoy eating in vegetarian and vegan restaurants though. As someone said above, they have to be good to stay in business. Doug looks like a good advert for the health benefits.
He looks nice indeed!
