Valerie


Valerie has a beautiful shop in the Village on Venetian Bay in Naples.  It features European home furnishings, jewelry, sculptures, Murano glass, Florida artists and assorted decorative items.



When I visited, Valerie showed me some of her favorite pieces:  a bronze sculpture of a mermaid riding a tortoise, two very large bronze tortoise sculptures, a pair of glass birds, and
several elaborate mirrors assembled from shells.

    This is one of the better reflection photos I have seen in a long time. Most reflection shots are either in water or glass and I am just as guilty as anyone for this flaw. Jack you were think outside of the box for this one. Well done!

    Super portrait shot Jack, you have a way of making your subjects feel at ease. I do have a 'thing' about seahorses, so I probably wouldn't get out of Valerie's shop empty handed :)
