The Sticker Lady

Back in Naples.  Columbus was great, but it is a pleasure to be warmer and see blue skies.

Kim is outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic.   She went to college to become a commercial artist, then worked for an ad agency and later a sign company.  Now she has her own design company.  Kim makes and applies vinyl lettering for store window signs, and she creates and applies
those colorful, graphic full body signs that some cars and trucks are wrapped in.

Some of Kim's biggest contracts are for designing, making and applying names and numbers
to the sides and sterns of boats and airplanes.  Hence, the name "Sticker Lady."

  1. Nice photos Jack! I like the way you got the Sticker Lady to pose in the first one. In the second photo the reflection on the boat turned out to be a enhancement bonus.

  5. I remember the first time I saw one of these wrap-around things, I thought it had been painted on and was amazed. Later, when I realized it was an appliqué of sorts, I was even more amazed. What a great idea!

I really like her workshop in the 2nd photo!

  6. Applying those while the boat is in the water can't be that easy. One would have a hard time keeping the lines straight.

  7. What a talented lady! Great shots for the day, as always, Jack!! Looks like an ideal way to make a living -- no high heels or need for fancy clothes plus time on the water and in the sun!! Perfect! Have a great weekend!!
