Eric is from Connecticut, as I am. He built a successful business, sold it and then retired to
Naples in his 50s. Today his time is split between his photography -- he is
the former president of the local digital photography club --
and teaching golf.
Eric has also an amazing resemblance to an uncle of mine!
ReplyDeleteNow that sounds like a heavenly retirement. I could do that...the photography part, not the golf part.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the two of you have a lot in common.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful portrait, Jack!

Huh! The best of both worlds?
ReplyDeleteHmmm...I may have to move down to Naples! He's got the skills I need and am still striving for! I'm wondering, though, what with this pensive face if he was watching you trying to putt?
ReplyDeleteGoodness Eric sounds like he has the perfect retirement plan Jack :)
ReplyDeleteHe should be a very happy guy, Jack!
ReplyDeleteThe two of you sound very much alike!! A perfect retirement plan indeed!! I'm sure you're both very happy guys, Jack, and I think it's terrific for both of you!! Enjoy, you've earned it!!
ReplyDeleteWell then you have a photographing buddy.
ReplyDeleteA thoughtful portrait.
ReplyDeleteWonderful blog with processed extraordinary that give great beauty.
ReplyDeleteBest Regards from Gran Canaria - Canary Islands (Spain)
A meaningful portrait.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good person to get to know.
ReplyDeleteRetire at 50, that would be a dream.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like Eric knows what he wants to build a happy life. Good for him!
ReplyDeleteI like the effect of the multiple portraits in one here.
I like the profile in the background as much as Eric. Maybe I'll teach photography when I retire but I sure as hell won't be teaching golf.
