Sunset at the School for the Deaf

Monday night I saw rosy clouds and headed for the American School for the Deaf,
to see how the new triangular glass entrance and the old cupola looked.

Not bad.

  1. Beautiful blood red sky! The two structures need to one another offer an interesting contrast of styles.

  2. I don't know what one calls the "automatic spelling/typing correction" but it makes me very annoyed! should be "next to one another". . .

  10. Beautifully composed shot, Jack! It's a wonderful image.

Regarding your last comment: yes, we also have volcanoes... but only on the Azores Archipelago and they're all asleep now! :-) Little tornados are unfortunately getting common and pretty destructive lately (I honestly don't remember them before). 12. Lovely sky and worth seeking out something interesting as foreground. And these are very interesting. The flagpole makes three and all good things come in threes (in photography anyway.)

  13. Bravo! A trio of interesting shapes, and I like the rooftop peeking through the triangle. The light, of course, is terrific.
