Basketball

This weekend I have been in my hometown.  I went to the high school.
This ball was lying on the basketball court, so old that I probably left it there when I played.
That was a long, long time ago.

How long ago?
Let me put it this way.
Our trophy is the oldest one in the display case.

  1. Hmmm. I smiled when I read that your trophy was the oldest one. Do you remember when we couldn't trust anyone over 30?

  2. You captured this old timer very nicely. I believe my hight school is having a reunion this weekend but, I didn't go. I have another trip coming up later this month and I couldn't do both.

  4. I would say this b-ball has been broken in quite well.

  6. Terrific reflections on that shiny floor. Love your perspective featuring a well worn basketball. I'm much better shooting with a camera than a basketball.

  7. I was in the first graduating class from my high school so all the stuff from our class is the oldest! I'm not sure if I like that. ;-)

  8. It's a well used basketball.

I don't think I'll ever go back to my old high school.

  9. Great shot. So I take it the school just never had any champions until you came along.

  10. Nice shot! I fled my high school and haven't looked back. What's humbling these days is that stuff I grew up with is now being called "antique."

  11. A trophy is a trophy, it doesn't matter how old it is...
