Essex Peabody Museum


Salem, Massachusetts, was a leading seafaring city in the 18th and 19th centuries.
The Essex Peabody Museum has fabulous exhibitions featuring American and
Chinese export furniture, ceramics and maritime artwork and artifacts.

    Looks like a great museum. I'll have to add it to my list of must see places. I've been wanting to visit Salem, MA for quite some time.

    Salem is for sure a very cool place. Next visit this on our to do list. Maritine museums capture the imagination. This one looks fabulous.

    Those figureheads in the second shot are spectacular. Actually, everything I can see is spectacular. It looks like a wonderful museum. It now has a spot on The List, along with Mystic Seaport.

    good to see all these nice museums through your eyes. we went to a few, but i dont think we went to this one.
    did you goto the one in manchester, NH? i really liked that one too...
