The Green Street Art Center in Middletown gets support from Wesleyan University.
One project was to put murals on the side of a building up the street from the center.
I rarely have a photograph I like better in black and white. This is one.
The old men from the neighborhood stand out better than they did in the colored version.

I like this too. It has a street photography documentary vibe.
ReplyDeleteI love that they have brought their own chairs out with them! The B&W works very well for this one.
ReplyDeleteIt is a terrific shot, Jack. Having these men in it adds such character to the image.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo, Jack. With these gentleman sitting out on the street, no one gets away doing anything they shouldn't. Cool.
ReplyDeleteFantastic photo. I can see where a full color photo would have detracted from men. I really like the way the middle man is looking.
ReplyDeleteLooks like some murals were not commissioned!
ReplyDeleteAwesome shot Jack. Should be considered for best of 2014.
ReplyDeleteThat is REALLY a great picture !
ReplyDeleteI usually prefer colour too but sometimes B&W really is better.
