This is the State Capitol.
The bottom shot was done manually with a longer exposure.
It gives more details, but removes some of the feeling of night time.

Trade-offs.
I will be traveling for the next two weeks. Internet might be spotty,
but posts will appear every day while I am away.

The capitol in the capital. :-)
I guess you're mad at me... Have a great time!
The top one is great, plenty enough detail and real atmosphere. The other looks like you took it earlier in the evening. Interesting what different camera settings do - plenty to learn there.
Both are great shots. I do like the color of the top shot a bit better. Cameras are wonderful things, are they not?! Enjoy your travels!
That's the joy of photography Jack ... trialling different exposures which give us different effects. I love your top pic ... makes me want to walk right up that path and take a peek inside.
aaahhhh, where are you going?
enjoy!
