Connecticut State Capitol

This is the State Capitol.
The bottom shot was done manually with a longer exposure.
It gives more details, but removes some of the feeling of night time.
Trade-offs.

I will be traveling for the next two weeks.  Internet might be spotty,
but posts will appear every day while I am away.

  14. The top one is great, plenty enough detail and real atmosphere. The other looks like you took it earlier in the evening. Interesting what different camera settings do - plenty to learn there.

  16. That's the joy of photography Jack ... trialling different exposures which give us different effects. I love your top pic ... makes me want to walk right up that path and take a peek inside.
