Don't Look Too Closely

Some places look better . . .

. . . if you don't look too closely.

  1. How true, Jack. I hope everyone who uses those front stairs does it very carefully.

  4. Very clever. I've notice that sometimes a place can look better in a photo than in reality. Unless, of course, you blur it! :-)

  5. True, they could keep their yard a little nicer. But you can't really blame them for the bins. Where else are you supposed to keep them? :)

  6. I think that the trash cans in the front yard are tip offs.

  7. Most things closely examined are disappointing. That is my wife's complaint about blue ray disks, too much detail. Perhaps this house has been divided into apartments, so no one feels responsible for maintenance? Interesting.

  10. It stands out more when most of the houses in your area look so very well-kept. It's sad to see houses getting run down.

  11. Pretty soon the kids in the neighborhood will be calling it The Haunted House. Hopefully, the damage is only cosmetic.

  14. I could use that nifty old gate/trellis in their garbage! Their Christmas lights are (still?) up... I think there's hope for the fine old house.

  15. I'm with Grace on this one!
Maybe some elderly person who just can't keep up with things anymore lives there?

  16. So true! I've never understood why people store trash cans in front of their home. Bizarre.
