Another Victorian House

This pretty Victorian house is on a small knoll on Girard Avenue in the West End of Hartford, across the street from the University of Connecticut Law School.  Even though I don't like the arrival of November's colder weather, we can see some of the houses better after the leaves fall.

  3. This home is from a distance...I don't dare look up close!

I'm still itching to repair the shingles on yesterday's house. I love renovating!

  4. That's very true, the leaves of those big trees tend to obscure the house behind in the summer months. This is a pretty one.

  9. Yes we wouldn't see much of this beauty if the leaves were still there!

  11. I never mind looking at Victorian houses. I'd love to live in a place like this, as long as the interior is renovated and modernized. :)

  12. Very true Jack! Tree 'skeletons' are so dramatic and add such a lot to an image don't you think!

  13. The limbs are barren, that's for sure. Soon all that nice green grass will turn brown...the temperature will drop...and white stuff will cover the ground. (Am I making you miss FL yet??) Lovely house. It looks like it has some character.
