Stonington



On the way to Rhode Island two weeks ago, I stopped in Stonington -- the last town in southeastern Connecticut. The leaves were starting to change colors and the houses on the main street looked great.  Current fall foliage photos from the other corner of Connecticut will begin tomorrow.

    Oh wow, that is a road the just begs to be explored. I am looking forward to more fall colors. We won't see any here until January or February.

    Aaah...absolutely wonderful autumnal photos. That stone wall really makes the top pic. That's it! I have to make it up to CT for a fall color tour one year.

    Sadly, all I know of Stonington is its very nice rest stop on the highway.
