There are many modern glass-walled office buildings in Hartford's downtown, as well as many older buildings with traditional lines. I enjoy it when the two collide. Today's image is of the Travelers Tower bounced off a modern building.
It is Friday, so James' blog Weekend Reflections is again showing photos with reflections. Take a look.

beau coup d’œil
I wonder how the modern architect would feel if someone told him or her that the best part of his or her design is that it enables a reflected view of the work of another architect.
Good question Dave. And a cool reflection it is.
My favorite kind of reflection!
Super reflection, Jack!
Classic of reflections
Love these kinds of wavy reflections. Nice job!
Re your comment: What? You don't think flowers cry?
I can't think of a more pleasing collision, Jack. Well done.
It reflects beautifully off the modern structure ... Happy week-end Jack.
This is a beautiful reflection shot.
Fantastic reflections, Jack! Love the distortions. Great shot.
Not the house, but the BUILDING that Jack built? I wonder.
I love these downtown reflections. Must be neat to work in that kind of building! Happy weekend. :)
My very favourite kind of reflection Jack, love the way it goes off into a little peak at the very top.
Classical kind of reflection, but I never get tired of it!
superbement prise cette photo,bravo !
what a wonderful contrast of buildings!
I like your shot : it just looks like you took the picture on a very hot day, and the heat in the air make every thing blury...
I love this one, Jack!! What a great combination of both new and traditional architecture and all in one reflection/capture! Hope you have a great weekend! Enjoy!
Simply wonderful, Jack!

Perhaps that's the only thing I like about modern glass towers, it's reflections. Glad you catch the reflection of the beautiful architecture on its the boring glass surface.
Awesome reflection.
This is just a fabulous shot, Jack! You have a great eye!
I love the old architecture, and I did something similar with my blog today.
Interesting reflection of the old in the new...
