Hart

The stag is seen often in Hartford symbols, including this seal in the Connecticut State Capitol.  The name Hartford (honoring Hertford, England, the home of a Hartford founder) is based on hart, or male deer.

    You have managed to continue our tour with this wonderful stag emblem Jack ...... I had never realised that Hart is the name for a male deer.
