Weekend Reflections: Moneychangers at the Temple

The First Church of Christ Congregational occupies a prominent corner in West Hartford Center, across a wide median strip from many storefronts, including Citizens Bank.

It is Friday, so Newtown Area Photos is once again hosting Weekend Reflections.  Take a look.

  2. That's a good lookin' reflection! The window is almost a mirror. The white of the snow & church and the blue sky really pop.

  3. Very funny! Almost as funny as your wanting to string up that young man for fooling around! :-)

Good shot, though...nice, clear reflection. And there's some symmetry: One of these places will steal your money and the other your soul.

    Have a great weekend!

  7. How creative of you to propose this juxtaposition... The title says it all... I wonder if the church has a little ATM for easy contributions. I do not make fun as the economy has caused many congregations to struggle with bills and to find the funds to help its members and the general public in this recession.

    Bon weekend,

  8. I've really enjoyed your reflections. The shots are great, but your descriptions and back stories are often equally as entertaining.
