18th Hole

Fellow bloggers Jacob and Halcyon are golfers.  I thought I would show them the beautiful 18th hole at Hartford Golf Club.  The top view is behind the green.  The bottom view is near the tee boxes, looking up the fairway toward the clubhouse.

It would be a good idea to use colored golf balls these days.  And snowshoes instead of spikes.

    That would be hard to find the "green" in this shot but I see it. Nice way to portray a golf course.

    I particularly like the bottom photo because of the horizontal fence lines.

    Golf courses are always beautiful, but the snow here adds a sparkle not usually seen... White, fluffy icing for sure!

    You might need some snow shoes to trek these links... lovely photos

    I think one can play golf in the snow if the snow isn't too deep. But I draw the line here...thanks, anyway!

    Looks like a nice course, though! I'll meet you at the 19th hole!

    Hi Jack. Sounds like a great course. Maybe we can play there sometime! A lot of trees, though. Trees tend to eat my golf balls. Sometimes trees throw golf balls right back at me.

    I don't get it. I've never been mean to trees!

    Haha....oh yes. Some color here would be lovely. One can be quite creative in this land of white when it drags on like this.

    Both photos are great, I can't decide which I like best, the top with the sun or the bottom one with the fence. I like them both.
