The Obligatory Snow Storm Photo

OK.  You all know we had another snow storm yesterday.  Well, I'm getting sick of snow storms and I'm getting sick of snow storm photos.  Snow is fine.  Snow storms are %&(^%$*&^.

So, here is a photo of the campus of St. Joseph College, a Catholic woman's college, while snow is falling.  Hartford didn't get hit as bad as other cities this time.

At least until I change my mind, no more storm photos this winter.  There will be plenty of pictures with snow in them, but I hope they will be blue sky snow photos.  A guy has to take a stand.

  3. Jack, you bring a smile to me. The storm creates a serene lovely scene. I don't know if you saw my comment back to you on my blog yesterday...

  6. Well I'm glad you posted this one because it's a beauty. My boss was in Washington DC yesterday and I was worried he wouldn't get back. He told me it was warmer there than in Phoenix. He said it got to 59 in DC, it only got to 44 here. How odd that the storm missed DC this time.

  7. Jack, it is a bit chilly here in the deep South but you could come for a visit and see "white"... white beaches and azure waters.

I do enjoy your snow photos and find them intriguing, but that is probably because we do not have it here... Stay warm!

  8. Take a stand? In all that snow? You'll freeze to death!

I saw some photos of Hartford yesterday and things didn't look too good! Ugh.

This is a pretty scene, though. Could be a bit stormier, if you ask me. But you didn't ask me...

Oh, I wanted to ask you this: Who took your profile picture? I hope you didn't pay much. I mean half your head is cut off. Sheesh! Maybe this is the better half, at least!

  9. I think we all feel the same way! I can't wait for photos with green in them.

This is a good shot. I wouldn't rule snowstorm photos out JUST yet. It's only early February.
