Hartford Stage Company

Hartford Stage Company began in an old grocery store warehouse in 1963.  It is now housed on Church Street in downtown Hartford in a building designed by Robert Venturi.

Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is playing now, as it does most Decembers.

I love to see a theatre company that is thriving.

I'd love to watch that. And I like the red cube.

I am not a big fan of modern buildings but this is quite nice. Nice shot.

Do you hope for a different production each year?

I have never seen A Christmas Carol on stage, only as a movie. I guess the people of Hartford support the theatre. That's a good thing!

I've heard of Ken Venture, who's this other guy?

Interesting and unique building but I'll bet it works well for stage productions and I'll also bet the acoustics are excellent...

Thanks for your comments on Ocala DP...but I must tell you I went wrong early on and have not gotten any better over the years! :-)

I like the building. Any shots of the inside? I'd imagine it's a pretty unique setup.
