Black and White in Color

Walking toward the light through the lobby of Hotel Indigo in Fort Myers, I spotted a man and woman whose body language I liked.  Yes, there are some light red bricks,
but on the whole the image reads like a black and white.

That is the March theme for City Daily Photo bloggers:  "Black and White in Color."
A color photograph that looks like a black and white.

A little slash of red brick looks super.

Fine silhouette. Your are right about the body language. He is quite interested in her, but she is not really into him.

There is an air of a mystery to this scenario; good material for lots of creative ideas.

Nice one, Jack! There's a story there.

What colour there is here, is largely muted. I do like the body language. We can just imagine the conversation.

What a good idea shooting from inside Jack, must remember that!

A good photo for the theme. I like the spot of color the brick provides.

Jack, I think you described the photo perfectly. Its appeal is in the silhouette framing and the interaction between the two characters. His stance is directly facing her, and yet her body is at right angles to his. Only her head is turned toward him. My guess is that she has the upper hand.

Great lines and angles as well.

Good shot! It leaves me wanting to see shots after this moment passes...What was the rest of the story with these people?

Nice shot. Now you've got us all wondering about their interaction. :)

My take: She seems to be a little mad at him and he's trying to persuade her not to be angry.

The photo indeed tells a story, for each of us to interpret. Nice work.
