Arturo

I first visited Arturo Samaniego more than two years ago.  I was impressed by his realistic paintings.  These days Arturo is experimenting with abstract paintings.
Here, he stands in front of two recent abstracts with a realistic painting in the background.

The folded arms work well together with the lady in the background painting.

The painting of the sunbather is incredibly realistic from this perspective -- wow! I like the colors he selected for those abstracts. Very eye catching.

His realistic work is stunning. They look like photographs. I enjoy abstracts too. He's a talented man.

What a contrast from his realistic to abstract work!

His realism is great and I love the colors in his abstracts. He's evolved since those earlier paintings...but then many fine artists stay fresh by changing and growing.

Fantastic photo, Jack, the way the poses are mirrored. He's clearly a talented guy to do excellent paintings in both styles.
