Hartford City Hall


Photographing into the central hall from behind the clock in Hartford City Hall was a
possibility for yesterday's "look down" theme for City Daily Photo bloggers.

That's another interesting building viewed from above. I love all those flags. But, I really do love the color scheme at the State Capitol building.

It's all very attractive but I can't help wondering what all these balconies and colonnades are actually for, though one wouldn't be surprised to hear that the city fathers were more interested in show than functionality.
