Out of the Jurisdiction: Lyon Bibliotheque

Lyon has several buildings with excellent trompe l'oeil murals.
One is La Bibliotheque de la Cite, near the bookseller markets
along the east banks of the SaƓne River.

I've always loved the look of trompe l'oeil building art, and this is an excellent example. I won't mention my attraction to books.

Great find, Jack! A former boss had one of the walls in his office wallpapered with a book design. From a distance, it looked as though he had quite a collection of books! Hope all's well with you…and you're enjoying your time out of the jurisdiction. Au revoir!

But is the customer at the door a painting?

Jack said...

Yes, Bob, he is also a painting.

Books, bikes and a painting—very European.
