A beautiful monarch butterfly flitted from one flower cluster to another.
The monarch shared this cluster with a bee (up top).
A smaller, brown-ish butterfly (or moth?) also flew around. I couldn't identify it.
And a small unidentified black butterfly with orange on its wing joined the feast.
A Google search suggests it is a Red Admiral Butterfly (Vanessa atalanta).

ReplyDeleteThat is indeed a Red Admiral, we have those here. No Monarchs though, apart from the Queen of course.
