The day was a bit rainy, but it did not deter your intrepid photographer from his appointed rounds.
Parc Güell is a failed hilltop housing development designed by Antoni Gaudi for his patrons,
the Güell family. It is now a park.

The terrace atop Antoni Gaudi's La Pedrera feels like it belongs in one of those
old movies about invaders from Mars.
La Boqueria is an amazing market for fresh and prepared foods, just off La Rambla.
It is crawling with tourists, none of whom have the means to cook the fresh food.
So many tourists photograph the workers of La Boqueria that I suspect many get tired of it.
A Marilyn Monroe impersonator swirls to attract visitors to the Erotic Museum on La Rambla.
You have never seen so many pigeons. Just some of the swarm at Plaça de Catalunya.

Wonderful shots!
My favorite photo is the fourth one. My friend Julie has a really great shot of those chimney sculptures and I love them.
I would love to go there one day but in the meantime your pics have been wonderful to see, Jack!
I am greatly enjoying your photos from Barcelona. You hit a number of the highlights on your last day.
For me, Gaudi's work is like chocolate. Very enjoyable just occasionally and in small amounts but I could soon get sick of it!
I think I'm with John on the Gaudi works but I'd love to see it anyway. On the other hand, I'd never get sick of watching that little kid in your last photo staring down the pigeons.
