Dahlias



I don't know why Elizabeth Park schedules its annual dahlia show in August.
The dahlias in the park are pipsqueaks in August.  But, in late September they are as tall as I am.


Some are even taller.

    Spectacular flowers, but I do not see any blue dahlias. They must be rare, or only exist in Raymond Chandler's mind.
