Happehatchee was once a girl scout camp. It is now a place for meditation, yoga, and other spiritual renewal activities. Or, as the website says, "a place for peace and healing," mainly for women
It has a charming home-made feeling.
Julie is the director. She discovered Happehatchee as a student at
Florida Gulf Coast University and never left.
Florida Gulf Coast University and never left.
There are many pathways through a Florida environment that feels wild and untamed,
though Happehatchee is just a stone's toss from one of the busiest state roads.
The Peace Pavilion.
Nice to see there are still some odd corners of peace and tranquillity in the world. Julie certainly looks well on the mix of meditation and yoga.
ReplyDeleteWhatever floats your boat... as they say. She certainly looks well on it and it looks a beautiful environment.
ReplyDeleteThe name of the place fits right in with the "Girl Scout" camp use of Native American names. Where I grew up it was Camp Sacajawea. This looks like a very peaceful place.
ReplyDeleteA nice place to relax, walk, heal and reflect. Julie surely look she found her place and is happy.
ReplyDeleteNice images Jack!
What an oasis, Jack!

ReplyDeleteThe place is quite peaceful.
