Blogger friend Sue has found love, sold her house south of Hartford and moved west of the city to be with her guy. She is a talented high end gardener. For a time Sue shared the seasons at her home, Idyll Haven, with blog viewers, until work, hiking and love took away blogging time.
To make her house more marketable to less obsessed buyers, Sue removed some plantings and
returned some space to grass. Many of these plantings are being relocated to her new home,
but Idyll Haven is still gorgeous. This time she will have to make her gardens
less delicious to deer and bears.

ReplyDeleteI never got the gardening itch, having grown up in an apartment and lived for the last 27 years in a single family, detached condominium (no exterior maintenance). But That's sure way to keep dirt out of my fingernails.
ReplyDeleteWow - it certainly looks like a haven. We had a similar situation next door to our home. The new buyers said they loved to garden. Next thing we knew they were literally plowing up the landscape.
