Fishing at the Lake Trafford Pier

Melvin

Charlie

Brenda

Sandra and her friend caught this fish with a line dropped through a crack in the pier.
One of her tattoos says (in Spanish) something like "live today like you will die tomorrow."
A few years ago she fell asleep at the wheel and rolled her car.  She is lucky to be alive.

Dad was teaching his little girl how to bait a hook.  She wasn't so sure about it.

  2. Melvin has the look of someone who's been places and seen many things.

  3. Great series of human interest portraits. Doesn't look like that fish would fit through the crack in the pier, but they obviously managed to land it. Looks like they will eat well.

  4. Charlie looks a little skeptical.
The fishing "through a crack in the pier" comment leaves something to be explained. How does the fisher get the fish up through the crack??

  7. Thinking just that same thought - having caught the fish through the crack, how do they land it? Great portraits of people having fun (well, apart from the little girl being slightly repelled by the bait!)
