Sandra and her friend caught this fish with a line dropped through a crack in the pier.
One of her tattoos says (in Spanish) something like "live today like you will die tomorrow."
A few years ago she fell asleep at the wheel and rolled her car. She is lucky to be alive.
Dad was teaching his little girl how to bait a hook. She wasn't so sure about it.
Wonderful variety of faces.
ReplyDeleteLove these!
ReplyDeleteSome fine portraits here Jack.
ReplyDeleteYour photos/posts get better by the day!!! I'm looking forward to getting back in the game when I return to Oregon in a couple of weeks!! Hope you/re enjoying a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteMelvin has the look of someone who's been places and seen many things.
ReplyDeleteGreat series of human interest portraits. Doesn't look like that fish would fit through the crack in the pier, but they obviously managed to land it. Looks like they will eat well.
ReplyDeleteCharlie looks a little skeptical.
ReplyDeleteThe fishing "through a crack in the pier" comment leaves something to be explained. How does the fisher get the fish up through the crack??
A great variety of shots in this series. Always like to meet people on the pier.
ReplyDeleteNow how did Sandra get that big fish up through the crack Jack :) ;)
ReplyDeleteThinking just that same thought - having caught the fish through the crack, how do they land it? Great portraits of people having fun (well, apart from the little girl being slightly repelled by the bait!)
