Kenyan Julius Koskei won Saturday's Edison Festival of Lights 5K with a time of
14 minutes, 30 seconds. He was disappointed at his time!
I got plenty of practice at panning my shots.
This determined young man ran hard to the finish after losing his shoe and grasping it in his hand.
Don't you just love this boy's joy at running?
And I loved the competitive fire these two showed as they strained to the finish line.

ReplyDeleteIt can be tricky shooting panning photos of runners. Easier with bikes and cars so you did a good job.

ReplyDeleteLois was a runner and ran over 50 races, a couple of which were in Naples. I loved to go with her and take photos. How come you weren't in the pack this time?
Nice action shots! Love the colors in the first one.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! I love them all and the last one is especially wonderful. You've reminded me that I want to practice panning at our annual bicycle race next month.
