Caloosahatchee Manuscripts

It has been three years since I showed the lighted cylinders on First Street in Fort Myers,
the Calahoosahatchee Manuscripts by sculptor Jim Sanborn.  Click here for more information.

I hope to be forgiven for repeating myself.  The pierced and lighted cylinders always
captivate me when I am in Ft. Myers at night.

I was there recently for a play at Florida Repertory Theatre.

The theme for City Daily Photo bloggers on February 1 is
"A Scene from a Cafe or Coffee House."

  1. They are stunning works. It was good to read their 'story' and to see them lit is wonderful.

  8. I've heard to this artist's conundrum of a work at CIA headquarters. Is there an interpretation at this location for visitors?

  10. That's really amazing. I'm not sure I saw these before...or maybe it's one I've forgotten. That's a very cool piece of art.
