I love stone crab claws! On Oct. 15, I'm ready for 'em. But, the past couple of years they've been $39/pound. So….it's become a love I can do without. I noticed John's Pass in Pinellas County started a Stone Crab Festival this year too.
Many years ago, early in my career, I attended a legal conference in Miami Beach. A group of us went to Joe's Stone Crab. OMG. Thanks for stirring up a nice memory.
Looks like fun yet I'd be tucking in! I loooove crab!

ReplyDeleteGreat captures of the event, though I must tell you that nothing compares to Dungeness crabs, named for our region...
ReplyDeleteFun way to start the festival season.
