Duxbury (Massachusetts) Fourth of July Parade

There is nothing like the color and enthusiasm of a Fourth of July parade in a New England town.
I arrived after the fire engines were finished and didn't have my DSLR camera with me.
Fortunately, my iPad was in the car and did a decent job
with the old cars.

    Wow the iPad did a super job Jack, I've seen people using them while out and about and wondered what the results would be like. You can tell the vintage cars in the celebration parade are beautifully cared for, how very cool is the purple car with yellow wheels j'adore :) Hope you had a super 4th July!

    Great old cars. That Ford third up from bottom really looks like it can't decide if it's a car or a carriage.

    The pluses evident in this post are many, Jack. You had your iPad with you. The weather was fine. The vintage vehicles and all their accoutrement fit the bill of a celebration perfectly. Those appreciationg the parade had curbside seats. Thanks for sharing!

    Uh-oh, you have turned into one of those ridiculous people taking pictures with an iPad! ;-)
    I will forgive you though. I love old cars and these shots turned out nice. And you have to use the camera you have.

    Love the old cars. I remember many of them from my youth. Model A's were relatively common and I recall a neighbor of my grandmother in northern Minnesota still drove a Model T (in the 40s!).

    It's wonderful see these so neatly restored.
