Congratulations on the wonderful series, Jack!
ReplyDeleteThat's a brilliant post for this Ageing theme day.
ReplyDeletegreat series Jack ... my favorite is Ellie and Ben with their focus on chocolate and wine (smile) ... I also like your profile and comment about looking forward often with a camera.
ReplyDeleteIggy is an excellent example of what can be achieved with very little money and a lot of determination. Super portrait of a man ageing admirably.
ReplyDeleteExcellent!
ReplyDeleteI sometimes wonder if success stories like his are still possible nowadays. I'd like to think so.
ReplyDeleteAn excellent choice for this theme day...
ReplyDeleteThis was such a great series. You found so many people who are all young where it counts!
ReplyDeleteIggy is looking good! I have really enjoyed your series on aging Jack. All of these active people make me feel a bit lazy, even though I do chase a two year old around 5 days a week!
ReplyDeleteA terrific series it has been indeed, Jack, and I have enjoyed it so much! Some wonderful and amazing people in your world!! Thanks for sharing!! Hope you've had a great weekend!! Enjoy the moment -- all of them!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an inspiration to start with nothing and build yourself up in this world.
ReplyDeleteJust catching up with your posts. All these people seem very fit for their age, perhaps all that Florida sunshine helps. It certainly seems true that those who have been successful in life don't ease up much in later years, even if the direction they pursue is different.
ReplyDeleteI don't know Iggy, Jack, but I have heard of him relative to his generous donations to the universities here in Toronto. I have really enjoyed this series too!
ReplyDeleteWell done Iggy!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the sporty life you live!
Greetings from Stavanger / Norway.
I admire self-made 'men,' the grit and determination to succeed is something more young people need today...
ReplyDeleteAnother nice portrait. Great success story. And, who can resist the name Iggy?! Your aging series was excellent. Great idea ND execution.
ReplyDeleteGood on him...he had done well. Wonderful portrait.
ReplyDeleteAnother inspirational character. You've found some wonderful ones, Jack, and Iggy is a real achiever.
ReplyDeleteI hope I'm that active at his age.
ReplyDeleteYou are showing us supermen and women, people who will not give up.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I downloaded that book you recommended.
It's hard to believe he's eighty nine. He certainly seems a good twenty years younger.
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable Jack, Iggy is cetainly living life to the max ... a wonderful capture for our "ageing" Theme Day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful series of aged champions - I think we just have to decide to get on with it like these people have.
ReplyDeleteA great attitude toward aging.
ReplyDeleteA great story of determination and perseverance... He looks great and with those activities I wonder if he is mopping up the greens with you.
ReplyDeleteLove these photos and this story, Jack. He will always be young.
