This weekend there are numerous events in Hartford to support bicycle riding,
including a 100 mile race yesterday, beginning in Bushnell Park.

  1. We have a similar event like this tomorrow. It's the "leave your car at home" day.

  2. I don't ride much. My wife thinks it is dangerous because cars don't look out for cyclists.

  3. Now that's a terrific shot for motion. All the helmets look quite similar.

  7. It takes good strong legs (not to mention heart) to ride in a 100 mile race. Good for them!

  9. Fine shot of the bike race start. Bike races are fun to watch, but they are difficult to see as they rush by in a moment and then are gone miles down the road.

  12. Nice shot. Bicycle races are hard to photograph. Too much motion in a small amount of space.

  13. How fascinating that they all have the same hats. It makes them look like a swarm of insects about to bear down on us.
