Larry is a college professor. He teaches philosophy. His tee shirt caught my attention.
It is from Bishop's Orchards and Winery, a 140-year old farm business
on the Connecticut shoreline, still in one family's hands.
Larry lives just a short walk from West Hartford Center. Lucky guy!
I wonder if he's a tough professor. He looks like a nice guy.
ReplyDeleteAgain Jack, nice portrait.
ReplyDeleteNot only lucky, but looks pretty darn happy, too.
ReplyDeleteNot really a philosophical expression, but he looks happy!
ReplyDeleteFun looking t-shirt.
ReplyDeleteha, the tshirt caught my eye too! love that it is still in the same family...that's pretty amazing!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a happy guy -- hope it's not just because he's on vacation. Amazing that the orchards and winery are still in one family's hands! Don't see/hear of that much these days. Have a great weekend, Jack!
ReplyDeleteA friendly smile and a colorful T-shirt would catch my eye too.
ReplyDeleteI like his t-shirt too! And his smile.
ReplyDeleteJack you have found someone quite unusual, an employed philosopher. Another in your fine series of portraits.
ReplyDeleteIt's all very well telling us about the tee-shirt but where's the close-up?
ReplyDeleteYou always capture the soul and spirit of a person in your portraits. When reading the story I can really imagine all of it.

I get the feeling that he probably gives enjoyable lectures!
ReplyDeleteYes, an employed philosopher...now that's a rare breed!
ReplyDelete(BTW: You may have overlooked that I've already outed myself in a group shot on my blog. See "About Kay." In case you need a hint, I'm not the one wearing a fur coat.)
A good portrait of the professor.
ReplyDeleteLarry looks like a happy chappy Jack!
