Good Lord, Naples beaches are usually quite empty. Or maybe I just haven't been there in a long time. Lots of fun colors! Have you been to the nude beach?
These pictures are terrific. Are you familiar with Gray (Grey?) Malin's photographs? Yours remind me a bit of his. Thanks for sharing! A Fan in Sarasota
I'm with you Jack…but, I really don't even like to take my camera to the beach. Too much sand. (I had a horrible experience years ago where I was climbing a sand dune in MI with my old film camera "securely" positioned over my neck and shoulder. The strap gave way….and the camera plunged into the sand. Believe it or not, it was cleaned and worked without problems.) Best not to lie on the beach….just tell the truth.
A tough assignment, Jack!
ReplyDeleteEven in England, where the climate is more often suited to walking than to sitting still, you would be in the minority.
Make that a minority of two.
ReplyDeletethe wind is blowing like crazy in the second photo!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!

ReplyDeleteGreat shots Jack. Love how colorful they are. Not to say how it makes me want to be next to the ocean. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love beaches -- when they're empty!! Great place to go with a camera though!! Great shots for the day as always, Jack, and they are colorful!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very busy beach and I can tell there was a nice sea breeze at the time you took these shots.
ReplyDeleteNot my idea of fun to be sitting there either!
ReplyDeleteExcellent captures. It's been years since I've been on an oceanfront beach.
ReplyDeleteA busy place, and this in May...
ReplyDeleteYour idea is the better one. These days I prefer to walk back and forth on the beaches.
ReplyDeleteI like all the colors you've captured. Melanoma cured me of any desire for sun bathing.

ReplyDeleteI like the colorful umbrellas.
ReplyDeleteI only lie on the beach if I have the shade of an umbrella. Otherwise I like to be in the water.
ReplyDeleteQuite crowded already...
ReplyDeleteThese scenes are from this year? When I consider the contrast between this and some other parts of the country. . .!!!
