A Morgan Six Ways

 1.  Here is a Morgan Aeromax coupe, probably 2008 or 2009,
with three reflections of a tall photographer wearing a yellow shirt.  For Weekend Reflections.

2.  If you have to ask, you can't afford it.
But, the answer is 110,000 pounds ($180,000).
About 100 were made.

3.  They were pretty much hand made.  On a wooden frame.
By the same Morgan family than has made them for over a century.

4.  I didn't lie on my stomach.  I placed the camera on the ground and turned the rotating
LED screen up so I could see the image.  Much easier.  And much cleaner.

5.  Something old, something new.

6.  And, it is not my fault the parking block and stripes are
off center.  I didn't park it.

  1. That is an incredible car. I know many a person in my life who'd be excited to be that close to it:) Fabulous triple reflections in that first!

  2. Oh, Jack, it's beautiful! When did you buy it? Not sure you ought to have it out in public, though! Sheesh!

Re your comment on Ocala: You are such a cynic. I'll have you know that our Historic District dates back to the 1880s and before. It's really old. Older than you, even. Really old!

  3. I see your portrait in one of the photos! It is an amazing car; did you take a whirl around the block in it?

  4. It really is a gorgeous car that I'll have to be content to admire in your photos!
    Love all the reflections!

  5. The car in your 5th photo looks like salt damage to the paint. Maybe it is the salt air in Florida, unless the driver spent time up north with road salt.

  6. My fave shot is the first one Jack.. the 'portrait' shot :) It's a beauty alright but believe me I can think of so many more ways to spend all that money :)

  7. Looks like something one would see on Downton Abbey.

BTW, yes I did know Burnham was the architect of the Columbian Expo of 1893 and designed one of my all-time favorite buildings, the Flat Iron building in NYC. The Devil in the White City was a great read too.

  8. You take "selfie" to a whole other level! I LOVE THESE! I noticed the palm trees and sunny skies first - since we're freezing here with our snowy pines! - but I loved spotting you in the reflections. And since I've been doing this link up and searching for reflections, I've found a reason to pay attention to cars ;-)
