Jen went through a tough time when she was in her 20s. Faith is important in her family,
and her family prayed for her to succeed in her struggles with addiction.
and her family prayed for her to succeed in her struggles with addiction.
When she had a daughter three years ago, Jen turned her life around. The tattoo of the Virgin
and child, a beating heart, and her daughter's name remind Jen of her family's
support and the journey she has taken.
Jen thought she looked awful without makeup and was at first reluctant to be photographed.
I think she looks awfully good. What do you think?

It's a nice photo with a warming story behind it
ReplyDeleteGlad she turned her life around.
ReplyDeleteJack you are right about her looks. Most people don't see themselves as others see them. Good luck Jen.
ReplyDeleteShe's gorgeous Jack, she must be thrilled with this portrait shot.. I have another portrait shot for tomorrow :)
ReplyDeleteGlad for her and her daughter. Nice portrait Jack.
ReplyDeleteShe is a natural beautify!
ReplyDeleteShe's a beautiful woman, and you were able to capture her inner beauty in this portrait as well.
ReplyDeleteShe is very pretty. Nice tattoo too!
ReplyDeleteA winning smile for someone working hard on her life; not easy, but I bet she will continue to go forward!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful smile and a lovely woman who has had a difficult journey, but is making the most of her life now and that's terrific! Thanks for sharing as always, Jack!! Hope your week is going well!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful portrait of a beautiful woman. So glad that she's in recovery and it's great that her family was so supportive.
ReplyDeleteGreat portrait, lovely lady, but I can't really stand tattoos...
ReplyDeleteGood for her! I hope she stays strong!
ReplyDeletePasses my muster!
ReplyDeleteI think she looks great! Who needs makeup with a smile like that? :)
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful. I'm so glad for her that she has pulled through the tough times. You wouldn't catch me without make-up in a photo, either!
ReplyDeleteA bright smile, light in the eyes. Who needs makeup anyway?
ReplyDeleteExcellent portrait, Jack!
The clarity in her eyes tells me she met her challenge successfully. She is radiant. I could take a pass on the tattoos, though.
ReplyDeleteMakeup? No way... She perfect as is!
ReplyDeleteI think she looks like a strong young woman that has a wonderful future!

Her inner beauty shines through
ReplyDeleteShe is very pretty. I really like these portrait/bio shots you have been doing. Do you have a set of questions you ask people or just let the conversation take it's own course?
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful young lady. Why would she need makeup? Congratulations to her for turning her life around. I'm not into tattoos at all and can't relate to that choice of hers but I'm glad she pulled through.
