Bang

Bang was born in the Philippines and moved to Dubai when she was young.  Dubai became too expensive, so she decided to move to the USA twelve years ago.  She had family in Iowa
and Florida; she visited Iowa in November when it was gray and cold.
That convinced her to move to Naples instead.

Reflected in Bang's sunglasses are Jen, whom you saw yesterday,
and me.  I had to take a second photograph to hide my face.

Visit Weekend Reflections to see more photographs with reflections.

  1. I don't think you need to hide your face Jack. The portraits really feels warm and sunny.

  2. Methinks you're a hit with the young girls of Naples! Very cool shot what with the sunglass reflections. I didn't see you anywhere. But I think there's some old guy sitting on the sidewalk! :)

  6. I am just now catching up with your blog, as we were away in the Galapagos and Peru for the holidays. I am sure that you are pleased to be in warm Florida taking photos of people like your recent subjects rather than being up in Connecticut at this time of year.

  13. Ah, Jack, that's how you look through other people's eyes. This is both a fine portrait and a great reflection.

  14. Interesting portrait, Jack, even if the reflections are very dominant and eye-catching... but that was your purpose, right?

  20. Not surprised after a November visit to Iowa she chose to live in Florida. I am sure there is a great deal more to do in Florida as well as much warmer. Love the fun reflection by the way.

  21. Now that is clever and, may I say, eye-catching composition.

  22. Is that you seated/kneeling on the floor back there? I can see you going through all sorts of trouble to get the photo you want but who wouldn't with such pretty girls around? :)

Rain and cold vs. sunshine ? I would have shared Bang's choice completely.
