Elephants

Elephants in Naples?

Yes, in front of an antiques store on 8th Street, near Fifth Avenue South.

I return to Florida today, then head up to Connecticut in eight days for Christmas.
You will probably see an unpredictable mix of photos from Naples, Hartford
and South Africa for the rest of the year.

  1. You find the most interesting animals away from the Bush!

  2. Glad you made it back safe and sound. Now that your blood is thin from a South African summer, best wishes staying warm up in New England.

  5. I enjoy seeing your photos no matter where you are. Your travels just add a bit of spice. Perhaps Hannibal left these elephants in Naples?

  14. I like the lines of the trunks and the second elephant peeking through the curve. I hope you're able to settle down somewhere long enough that you remember where you are when you wake up in the morning. Safe travels!

  16. They look fierce, forbidding entry.

Your mix beats North St. Louis, South St. Louis and a little NYC thrown in at the end of the year.
