Traditions

This old-fashioned restaurant sits on the beach
on the lovely island of Sanibel.

It brings the mind back to the Truman and Eisenhower
administrations.  The food is great.

It does have a 40's, 50's look to it.

I do love older restaurants like this one -- very inviting, indeed!! Terrific reflections for the day, too!! Hope you're enjoying a great week, Jack, but I suspect you usually do and that's as it should be!!

'Traditions on the beach' sets off a whole interesting train of thought... one of our traditions was always burying our feet and then watching the sand break up as we wriggled them free.

Nice photo Jack, it looks a cosy place.

What a nice spot that looks. I would be very tempted to pay a visit if I we not in England :).

I spent a weekend at Sanibel back in the 70's. I am sure I wouldn't recognize it now, but loved the shelling and how quiet it was. I hear you laughing Jack.
