That's quite a squadron of pelicans. Do you know that these birds have air in their bones that make them look lighter and more graceful than they actually are when flying? Blogging fills my head with trivia because I need to search for interesting info when I see a photo I like.

ReplyDeleteIconic Florida. And to think that 30 years ago the brown pelican was almost extinct due to DDT. They've made a great comeback!
