And Another Bus Shelter



This bus shelter is near the line between Hartford and West Hartford, at the intersection of Park Road with Prospect Street.

Until I approached this bus rider, he had not noticed that there was a colorful wildlife mural behind him.  He is pointing to the sign explaining that the artist is Brian Colbath and the mural was one of ten sponsored by the West Hartford Art League.

    Excellent mural and excellent location for it. As far as the gent not seeing the mural... people get into such a routine that they don't notice the world around them.

    The definitely is not a member of CDP o rhe would have already taken many photos of this remarkable bus shelter. You probably would have been in the scene then.

    It's amazing how much people don't notice. Photographers tend to see more...because we are paying a little better attention. ;)

    in the netherlands the glass of such shelters is often shattered during weekends by drunk stupid people. now i wonder if i ever saw that in the us...
