The Polka Dots Girls house on Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury is a place for parties, gifts and "spa" visits for pre-teen girls. This would be heavenly to lots of young girls. It would not have worked in my house. My daughter is a softball, swimming, water polo, diving, saxophone, hiking, yoga, photography, gardening and crafts kind of girl.
That's what I call an eye catcher.
ReplyDeleteo wow! that certainly is pink!!! not sure i would want my house to look like this...
ReplyDeletei like swimming, but water polo is too tiring for me... haha
Wow, indeed. We have a pink house in Tungelsta but I think I have already used it on my blog.
ReplyDeleteWithout question, this building makes a very loud statement that many little girls probably could not resist.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like something out of a children's story book
ReplyDeleteWow.
ReplyDeleteUnique and yes a big WOW from me in Stavanger too.
ReplyDeleteThat's full-on.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice!
ReplyDeleteThank you for exercising the leadership to pick the pink theme. You obviously had a good photo lined up for your selection.
ReplyDeleteI think I am going to show a few more days of pink to continue to theme a bit.
Excellent choice for this theme day. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteThat is a creative business venture and a colorful house. Our daughters sound much the same!
ReplyDeletePolka-dot pink house ... very unique Jack and I'm sure a very successful business venture.
ReplyDeleteYou couldn't have found a more perfect building to photograph for theme day. This place might be a bit over the top decor-wise but, it is perfectly painted and maintained.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly couldn't have found a more perfect shot for the theme day! How fun! Hope you're enjoying a great holiday weekend, Jack!
ReplyDeleteNow I see why you chose PINK for our theme! That's an eye full Jack. Oh and the guys on yesterday's post are as well. :)
ReplyDeleteV
OK, your house is pinker than mine... I am sure you devised all this pink theme day only to be able to post this lovely picture!
ReplyDeletewow! you win for the pink-est entry :D
ReplyDeletePink and polka dots too. Wowee!! Perfect for the theme. good choice. MB
ReplyDeleteJack, that is the most PINK house I've ever seen. Great find.
ReplyDeleteSuperb post for theme day! Wow!
ReplyDeleteLooks fun to be in this house....
ReplyDeleteBefore I even read your description I knew where that house was located. What an eye catcher.
ReplyDeleteOh, my! That's a PINK house. This could have inspired John Mellencamp's song 'Little PInk Houses'. I can't imagine living there...but, it is eyecatching and well maintained. Hope all's well in your world!
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you chose pink as our theme, Jack! This place is fabulous. ;-))
ReplyDeleteYup, that wouldn't have worked for Aimee either Jack :) but I can just imagine there would be many a pre teen that has had heaps of fun here!
ReplyDeleteWell Jack, this is the King of Pink!
ReplyDeleteExcellent photo for this theme, as expected :)
GREAT choice! I have a grand niece who'd move in there in a heartbeat.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, is that the reason why you opted for pink?? :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing!
What fun, my daughter would have loved it!
ReplyDeleteThat is certainly PINK. Not that my daughter would have fallen for it either.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, now! Now that's pink. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove this amazing pink! Even though I'm not quite a girly girl either:), those polka dot awnings are pretty sweet.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely hard to miss that!
ReplyDeleteYow, what an eye-burner!. My daughter is of a similar mind to yours. Little Madeleine will never have a Barbie doll, she says.
ReplyDeleteWould not be hard to find if they told you to look for the pink house.
ReplyDeleteOh, that hurts my eyes just to look at it!
ReplyDeleteIt does get your attention.
ReplyDeleteYow. The pinkest of pink. With polka dots to boot. Is anyone else troubled that pre-teen girls are being pushed more and more into activities previously reserved for teens and young women? Good on your daughter for not having any of it.
ReplyDeleteMan - what a house. Working there could give a person a migraine!
ReplyDeleteIn all fairness, I think you're making me sound a lot cooler than I am these days, dad. More like 'gardening, DIY, pets, and photography when I can remember/if my battery's charged'.
xo
You won, Jack! This is the coolest entry I've seen. Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteHA! That's really something! It wouldn't have worked for either of my two daughters either. My girls have never wanted to be princesses. :))
ReplyDeletemakes me think of hansel and gretal!
ReplyDeleteOkay, you really needed to have PINK as a theme with this photo hanging around! Love the candy look to this place but I hope that it is zoned commercial. Otherwise the neighbors would have to have sunglasses!
ReplyDeleteThanks for setting up the CDP group theme this month!
Bises,
Genie
Wow, stunning Jack!
ReplyDeleteWow! Very special for the pink theme. Best ever!:-)
ReplyDeleteExcellent choice!
