Recently I was driving in my neighborhood. I passed a man on a bicycle with his young child on the trailer bike behind him. It was one of those cute "can't miss" scenes. So, I pulled my car over, rolled the window down, and waited for him to pass me.
Instead he turned in the opposite direction, pedaling away from me. I quickly aimed for the rear view mirror and -- voila! -- here is another photo for James' regular Friday feature, Weekend Reflections.
Haha sounds like you freaked the guy out!
ReplyDelete@Susie, no, it was at an intersection and I just guessed wrong about which way he would turn.
ReplyDeleteNice shot, Jack, and some very quick thinking on your part!
ReplyDeleteVery nice Jack, I like it a lot..
ReplyDeleteTitle: Back in Time. Well, I tried.
ReplyDeleteWell done. You're getting fast on the trigger.
ReplyDeleteSo, why don't you do what so many other snowbirds have done...just move it all to Florida and stop trying to keep up two places, etc.? :)
Luckily, our grand-reporter was there and ready to do his job!
ReplyDeleteWell done, Jack!
What a great reflection for the day, Jack! There are lots of bikes like that in my neighborhood and the kids do look as though they're having a fun time!! Have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThat was quick camera work, and quick thinking.
ReplyDeleteLove to see fathers and children together on an outing.
ReplyDeleteI"ve never seen one of those bikes. I"m still trying to get the memory of a huge pile up I saw on TV this morning of the Tour de France!
