Oh how I miss my Laburnum from our old home.... Sigh. A pink dogwood is also out of the question here in Ontario, though other dogwoods grow wild on the property.
Spring has definitely put in a beautiful and colorful appearance! Such lovely colors and your captures are terrific, Jack!! Enjoy the beauty and have a wonderful day!!
Oh my, beautifully shown Jack, I wonder if Dogwood goes under another name and we can get it here..I will be doing some investigations tomorrow :) Aww ! what no comment about my Aussie beach bum Jack, that's a shame haha!
I've never seen dogwood flowering and it is so beautiful! I love Laburnum and there are a few beauties in our 'hood so I'll have to go by and see if they are blooming. No I wasn't surprised that you didn't like the dandelions! ;-)
Love the dogwood shot! It has such softness, grace, and movement. Well done! And we're just now seeing our golden chain blossoms, too. They're so showy!
so pretty!!! here at our apartment complex we had a huge purple wysteria, next to the pool. so pretty and a place of shade... but when the complex switched owners one of the first things they did was to remove that plant... :(((

Beautiful colours Jack. Spring has arrived.
i've never seen a golden chain tree before, pretty!
First blog I opened today and what a treat! Love the colors, especially the first!
Dogwood - that is a new one for me. Beautiful! Golden chain against that greenhouse makes for a stunning photo.
So lovely flower, delicate and very special, you got romantic images, the pink is awesome, an amazing close up!

A lot of our dogwoods are just blooming here too. We usually get the right on Easter but it was way too early this year.

Beautiful shots Jack. That pink color is delicious.
Will definitely check with my local nursery, they're pretty good. It would fit right in here in my garden, thanks for the info Jack.
Outstanding shot, Jack! The pinks and greens look fabulous the way you've shown us.

It seems that we live parallel lives, at least with flowers...
Beautiful florals! Those colors! I didn't realize the name of the second type, love learning new things.
The 1st photo is fabulous, Jack!
Re your post on BDP: The next parade is held on March 1, 2014 ;-)
Great flower shots!
They certainly make up for the going, going, gone tulips!
I love your Dogwood capture Jack ... unfortunately they don't grow here in my city.
Doggone, them sure are pretty! We got lots of dogwoods, too. They do spruce up spring!
They do bring 'life' to the springtime.
