. . . and Boots and Bags
Hartford Denim Company also makes leather bags and leather boots.
If you have some free time, are interested in hand craftsmanship, and want to learn more, click here to see Hartford Denim Company's fascinating website.
An amazing company and certainly different -- not their product, but their environment! I'm heading over to their website! Thanks for the info! Hope you have a great weekend, Jack!
What a gift to be a craftsman of this caliber! Hard work, too! PS. I have been out of town, Up North, for a week near the Canadian border without internet or cell phone capability. Very peaceful and serene and I loved it; gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. But I have not been able to visit any of my blogger friends. It'll take awhile to read all of my email messages and to visit your posts to see what I've missed, but it's good to be back!
This looks like a (sort of) 21st century replay our our western Levi Strauss story. But I think the products retailed for less even if they may have been made with similar machines.
How great to see a group of young craftsmen join to produce high quality hand-crafted products. Your photo essay over the last couple days is excellent.
Well now we know it all Jack ..... if I ever come to Hartford I will be sure to drop in at the Hartford Denim Company for a pair of Blue Jeans.
ReplyDeleteI never would've expected such a rugged looking guy to be handcrafting bags. I love it. Hope they do well.
