I love these photos. Wonderful. Thomas Hooker went to school (I believe) in Market Bosworth...not far from Coventry. (Jack - That is so interesting about what you had to say about thatched roofs in South Africa. I am wondering if the style is similar to ones in UK.)
Yes, I'm glad you explained the name, too!! Nothing like seeing celebrating hookers, but it seemed a little far out for Connecticut!! Terrific, colorful captures, Jack, and a great smile to start my day!!

Thomas had an unfortunate last name, but it seems there's lots of Hookers in Hartford! Great pics.
