I LOVE this shot! Perfect angle and perspective. This photo transcends the subject - although geometry actually is the subject, not the building. LOVE it!
And Jack, Panama hats might totally be in style in Connecticut. Down here, Rays caps are what's in right now! hahahahahaha
I love this one! What a great intersection of lines and reflections. I could look at this a little while longer and still see something new. Really creative shot, Jack!
@Ann, I moved around for a while until I had a perspective that would be symmetrical. Then I took three shots. The biggest challenge was to get the center line perfectly vertical and centered. One was very close out of the camera, but I did a slight rotation of the image and then did a slight cropping to make it as symmetrical as I could get it.
I love the geometrics here - you did a great job. But I also find that I love the colors, too. The lights, darks, and tones add just the right touch. Masterful!
Brilliant. The perspective will change back and forth if you look at this photo for a while.
ReplyDeleteI struggled with it in school, but I'm getting an A+ on your photo though.
ReplyDeleteVery graphic and strong picture!
ReplyDeleteI liked it then and I like it even more now!

ReplyDeleteThese are fun shots...you had a good eye to catch this just right! If only I had paid more attention in geometry class.
ReplyDeleteReally cool Jack!
ReplyDeleteA pattern of lines and angles with corresponding geometric shapes is always fascinating.
ReplyDeleteA very artistic photo. There is plenty to look at the photo.
ReplyDeleteI love this!! Very well composed.
ReplyDeleteI like both shots too Jack, almost the same but not quite!!

ReplyDeleteWow, this is an amazing photo! It's hard to tell what is the reflection and what is not. Great shot!
